Russian Army kills more than 100 members of Ukrainian special forces and foreign mercenaries

Moscow, SANA- Russian Defense Ministry announced Sunday that the Russian army launched shelling attacks using high-precision missiles a Ukrainian special operations training ground in which foreign mercenaries have been positioned in the vicinity of Ovruch town in northern Ukraine, killing more than a hundred members of Ukrainian special forces and foreign mercenaries.

Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov said in a media brief that the Russian operational-tactical and army aviation destroyed 62 military facilities of Ukraine. Among them: three command posts, one installation of multiple launch rocket systems, two depots of rocket and artillery weapons and one fuel depot, as well as 52 places where military equipment is accumulated.

Konashenkov added that the Russian Artillery fire destroyed 3 Ukrainian mobile electronic warfare systems Bukovel,in addition to that the Russian air defense of the Russian Federation shot down one Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter, six unmanned aerial vehicles, including one missile “Bayraktar” TB-2,. In addition, air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian tactical missile “Tochka-U” near the town of Izyum, Kharkiv region.

Since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine, 207 drones, 1,467 tanks and other armored vehicles, 148 rocket launchers, 573 field guns and mortars, and 1,262 Ukrainian military vehicles have been destroyed, the Ministry spokesman went on to  say.
