Below-average temperatures, showers expected over southern regions

Damascus, SANA- Temperature will drop to become around average in the southern, eastern and al-Qalamoun regions, whereas it will remain above average in the other regions as the country is affected by shallow air pressure from the south direction in the upper layers of atmosphere, Meteorology Department said.

The skies will be partly cloudy in general with a chance for showers over the southern, eastern and al-Qalamoun regions, according to Saturday bulletin.

It added the wind will be easterly to northeasterly with a moderate speed and some active gusts, the sea waves will be low in amplitude

In some Syrian cities, the expected temperatures will be as follows: Damascus 16/6, Daraa 17/6, Homs 16/3, Hasaka 20/6, Tartous 19/9 Aleppo 16/5, Deir Ezzor 21/12
