Syrian-Belarusian talks on boosting economic, industrial and trade relations

Minsk, SANA-Syria and Belarus have discussed means of boosting relations in all spheres especially in the economic, industrial and trade domains, and means of upgrading these relations to be up to the level of the distinguished political relations

This came during talks between Minister of Public Works and Housing, Eng. Suhail Abdel Latif and Dmitriy Bantos, Chairman of the Belarusian Military Industrialization Committee, Head of the Belarusian side at the Joint Governmental Committee.

During the meeting, the two sides also discussed preparations for the meetings of the Joint Governmental Committee 8th Session which will be launched on Wednesday, and its hoped-for outcomes.

For his part, Minister Bantos affirmed his country’s continued support for Syria in its war against terrorism and at different international forums.

He hailed the depth of friendship relations between the two countries’ leaderships and peoples, expressing his country’s desire to consolidate its relations with Syria in all domains.

In turn, Minister Abdel Latif highlighted the distinguished historical friendship binding the two countries at all levels, stressing Syria’s support for Belarus in the face of the unjust Western attack launched against it.

He also underlined the need to exert all possible efforts by both sides to enhance cooperation and reach the required level under the directive of the two countries’ leaderships.
