All ports opened for maritime navigation

Damascus, SANA- General Directorate of Ports on Thursday reopened all ports to maritime navigation after the improvement in the weather conditions which were bad yesterday.

General Director of Ports, Brigadier Eng. Samer Kobrusly said in a statement to SANA reporter that after the weather conditions had stabilized and the storm ended, all ports were reopened to maritime navigation and fishermen were allowed to resume their work.

It is noteworthy that the General Directorate of Ports closed the sea ports and the fishing ports yesterday in the coastal region due to the bad weather conditions and the storms.
