Damascus, SANA- The Traffic Department at the Ministry of Interior on Wednesday issued a list on road conditions in the provinces of Damascus Countryside, Lattakia and Hama due to the current weather conditions.
In Damascus Countryside, all roads are open except the road of Sasa-Beit Saber -Beit Tima- Kafar Huor which is closed due to the ice while all the roads which lead to al-Zabadani are hardly open due to the ice.
In Hama, all roads are open except the road of Ein al-Kroum-al-Qarandah-Jourin- Slunfa and the road of Shathat Joubat Burghal which are hardly passable due to the ice.
In Lattakia, all the main and sub-roads are open except the road of Slunfa-al-Ghab in al-Heffa which is not passable due to the accumulation of snow while the road of Markiyat Makamat Bani Hashem is hardly open due to the ice.
The Traffic Department called upon drivers to drive carefully, use fog lights, check the brakes and reduce speed to avoid traffic accidents.
