Damascus, SANA- 293 new coronavirus cases, 110 recoveries and 12 deaths were recorded in Syria on Sunday, according to the Health Ministry.
“The total number of infections detected in the country till now has reached up to 41,515 cases of which 25,716 have recovered, while the deaths have amounted to 2,504,” the Ministry said in a statement.
On March 22nd last year, the first coronavirus case was detected in Syria in a person wo came from abroad, while the first fatality was reported on the 29th of the same month.
