Partly cloudy weather, showers expected in different areas

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will notably drop to become from 4 to 7 degrees below average as the country is affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere, accompanied by a relatively cold and wet air.

Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the weather will be partly cloudy in general with a chance for showers over different areas across the country.

The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed, and it will be southwesterly in the southern area with active gusts, while the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 26/19, Daraa 24/17, Homs 27/17, Lattakia 26/21, Aleppo 29/15 and Deir Ezzor 32/18.
