Iran slams security council unconcern towards US occupation of parts of Syrian territory

New York, SANA- Iran’s permanent representative to the UN, Majid Takht-Ravanchi , slammed the UN security council unconcern towards US occupation of parts of Syrian territory and its failure to take any measures to stop the massacres and destruction perpetrated in Yemen .

IRNA quoted Takht-Ravanchi as saying in a speech yesterday during UN General Assembly meeting that the US administration of President Joe Biden continues the failed policy of pressures and economic terrorism against the Iranian people.

Takht-Ravanchi also pointed out to the Israeli entity’s continued occupation of Palestine and its inhumane siege of the Gaza Strip, saying “Unfortunately, Security Council failed to take any action.
