Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will slightly drop to become around average or slightly lower as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday that the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds, while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badia (semi-desert) regions, and it will be relatively cold over the mountains.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a moderate speed and active gusts whose speed exceeds 60 km/h, while the sea waves will be low to medium in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 32/16, Daraa 32/16, Homs 29/15, Lattakia 27/12, Aleppo 31/17 and Deir Ezzor 37/21.
