Capitals, SANA- With closure of the ballot boxes at Syrian embassies in countries of Latin America, the election process for Syrians residing abroad have ended at Syrian embassies, diplomatic missions, and consulates in different countries of the world and the process of sorting of votes have begun .

The electoral process for Syrians abroad began at seven o’clock in the morning of May 20, according to local time in Australia, and ended after the election period was extended for five hours at twelve o’clock midnight according to the local time of South America .
