Bratislava, SANA- Former Slovak Prime Minister Jan Carnogursky said that Syria is a country that has a long history and at the same time has international geopolitical importance.
In an interview to Iskra Website, Carnogursky said that the west has supported terrorism in Syria, but the developments that took place in it have come with different results from the West plan, as Syria has achieved victories against the terrorists and foiled their schemes.
He added that all the western countries have restored later to imposing unilateral coercive economic punitive measures on Syria.
Carnogursky called on the government of his country to restore the diplomatic relations with Syria and to deepen cooperation with it.
