Moscow, SANA- Russian President’s Special Representative for the Middle East and African countries, Deputy Foreign Minister, Mikhail Bogdanov, discussed with UN special envoy for Syria, Geir Pedersen, the outcomes of meeting of the fifth round of the Committee of Discussing the Constitution.
“The two sides stressed the importance of continuing the Syrian-Syrian dialogue with the help of the United Nations in order to achieve a settlement to the crisis in Syria on the basis of UN Security Council Resolution 2254 “ a report by RT website posted on Monday said.
Pedersen announced in a press conference last Friday the conclusion of the fifth round of the Committee of Discussing the Constitution meetings without making a progress despite lengthy of discussions and interventions, as he described, adding that he intends to hold a number of meetings in preparation for the next round without setting any date.
