Temperatures around average, weather clear and partly cloudy

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures remain around or slightly above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by west air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the weather will be clear and partly cloudy in general, with a little chance of showers on the coastal region, while the weather will be cold at night, warning against fog at early morning over the central regions, al-Qalamoun and Ghouta areas.

The wind will be southwesterly of moderate to active in speed and the sea waves will be moderate to high in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 14/6, Al- Qunaitra 12/3, Homs 12/3, Hama 12/5, Hasaka 16/5, and Tartous 20/10.
