Moscow determined to support Syrian dialogue to reach constructive solutions

Moscow, SANA-The Russian Foreign Ministry affirmed that Russia and its partners in Astana process are determined to support the Syrian-Syrian dialogue and bring points of view among the Syrian parties to reach unified positions and formulate a single vision for the future of their country.

“The Mini- committee of discussing the constitution in Syria ended its fourth session of talks in Geneva as the UN and the participating sides considered the outcomes of the meetings positive,” the ministry’s spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, said in a press briefing on Thursday.

She added that Russia and its partners in Astana process encourage the Syrian parties to continue dialogue and bring views closer between them in terms of reaching unified positions and formulating a single vision for the future of their country.

Zakharova indicated that the success in the dialogue track among the Syrian parties will lead to constructive, comprehensive and sustainable solutions to the situation in Syria in line with the UN Security Council Resolution No. 2254 and the decisions of the Syrian National Dialogue Conference in Sochi.
