Temperatures around average, cold at night

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures slightly drop to become around  average as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by southwesterly air currents in the upper layers of atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies  will be partly cloudy in general, the weather will cold at night particularly over the mountains, warning against fog in some inland areas in the early morning.

The wind will be easterly to northeasterly of low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities will be as follows:

Damascus 16/9, Daraa 16/7, Homs 17/4, Hasaka 19/4, Tartous  23/14, Aleppo 17/4, Idleb  17/5, Deir Ezzor 19/5.
