Director of Damascus Hospital: suspected coronavirus cases admitted in the hospital increase by 10 %

Damascus, SANA- Director of Damascus Hospital, Dr. Ahmad Abbas affirmed that the number of suspected coronavirus cases admitted in the hospital nowadays has increased by 10 % compared to the last period.

In a statement to SANA, Dr. Abbas said that the second wave of Coronavirus that started in several governorates in the country has not reached its climax in Damascus and it is still under control until now, despite the increasing cases that were admitted in the hospital with respiratory complaints.

He stressed that the hospital is committed to Health Ministry’s directives in terms of precautionary measures and raising the alert.
