Syria, Oman stress need to develop brotherly relations

Damascus, SANA- Speaker of People’s Assembly Hammouda Sabbagh has affirmed the depth of brotherly relations binding Syria and Sultanate of Oman based on the mutual respect.

During his meeting with the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman, to Syria, Turki bin Mahmoud Al-Busaidi, on Thursday, Sabbagh underlined the need to continue work to develop the cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries, especially at the parliamentary level.

He stressed the importance of exchanging delegations and parliamentary experiences in various domains.

For his part, Ambassador Al-Busaidi stressed the need to deepen and bolster these relations and to intensify mutual visits with the aim of benefiting from Syrian expertise.

The Omani ambassador reaffirmed his country’s standing by Syria, indicating that the scheme targeting Syria has become exposed to the whole world.

He voiced solidarity of the Omani people with the brotherly Syrian people in facing the blockade and the unjust war imposed on them.
