Capitals, SANA- The novel coronavirus (Covid- 19) has claimed the lives of 1, 402, 312 people worldwide since its appearance in December last year, according to the American website of Worldometers.
The website added that the number of the global coronavirus infections has amounted to 59, 533,146 and the death toll has reached up to 1,402312, while the number of recoveries has reached up to 41,173,110.
In India, the Health Ministry has recorded 37,975 new coronavirus infections as the total number of infections has climbed to 9,18 million while it recorded 480 new fatalities bringing the death toll to 134,218 till now.
While in Germany, the data of Robert Koch institution for the Infectious Disease showed that an increase in the new coronavirus cases as 13, 554 cases have been recorded, bringing the total of infections to 942,687 while 249 new death cases have been registered as the total number of fatalities amounted to 14, 361 in the country.
