Damascus, SANA- The Ministry of Transport issued a decision whereby Lebanese trucks were exempted from transit fees when entering from Lebanon into Syria.
According to the decision issued on Tuesday, the exemption of Lebanese trucks whose final destination is Syria from transit fees when crossing the territories of the Syrian Arab Republic comes to encourage shipping between the two countries and implements the principle of reciprocity between the two countries.
The Ministry also issued another resolution that exempts Syrian trucks from transit fees when entering or crossing the territories of the Syrian Arab Republic or when they transport goods loaded from Syrian ports and head abroad.
