Moscow, SANA- Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, affirmed on Thursday the importance of the parliamentary elections which will be held on July 19th.
“We consider it is important that all legislative and executive institutions in Syria work normally in order to preserve the stability of the country, so it is necessary to run
these elections” Zakharova told SANA reporter in a press briefing.
In another context, Zakharova revealed information that the Americans are training the terrorists in the area they occupy controlled in al-Tanf in Syria.
Zakharova pointed out that the Americans are providing the so-called “Mghaweir al-Thawra army” with weapons in order to carry out sabotage operations in other parts of Syria.
She added “We generally evaluate the situation on the ground as tense and the most difficult situation is in areas which are out of the control of the Syrian government, as in Idleb and the Euphrates area.”
