Health Ministry: 23 coronavirus cases recorded, 10 patients recover, 3 pass away

Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry has announced that 23 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria for people who interacted with other infected people as the total of cases in the country reached 417.

In a statement on Monday, the Ministry said that three of the people who contracted the novel coronavirus passed away bringing the death toll of the virus to 19.

Meanwhile, 10 of the infected people have recovered, as the number of the recovered cases climbed to 136.

The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22^nd for a person who came from abroad while the first death of the virus was reported on the 29^th of the same month.
