Temperatures below average, weather partly cloudy to rainy in most areas

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will notably drop to become from 3 to 6 degrees below average as the country is affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere accompanied by a cold air mass.

Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy and rainy in most areas and the rainfalls will be heavy and accompanied by thunder sometimes over the coastal, northern and al-Jazeera regions while the weather will be misty in the eastern region.

The wind will be westerly with moderate speed and active gusts in most areas while it will be southeasterly in the eastern and al-Jazeera regions and it will become westerly with moderate speed and active gusts and dusty conditions in those areas, and the sea waves will be low to medium in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 23/13, Daraa 23/14, Homs 22/13, Lattakia 22/16, Aleppo 22/13 and Deir Ezzor 31/17.
