Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will slightly drop, yet they will remain around average as the country is affected by a low air pressure in all the layers of the atmosphere accompanied by a moderate and wet air mass.
Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy to rainy as heavy rains will fall and they will be accompanied by thunder sometimes, warning against torrents in the slopes and valleys, particularly in the eastern and al-Jazeera areas.
The wind will be northeasterly to become northwesterly gradually with a low to moderate speed and it will become active in the afternoon in the eastern region while the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 13/7, Daraa 15/7, Homs 13/4, Lattakia 20/10, Aleppo 13/7 and Deir Ezzor 14/5.
