Three civilians injured in terrorist mortar attacks in Damascus and its countryside

Damascus, SANA- A mortar shell fired by terrorists on Sunday fell in al-Wafideen residential camp in Damascus countryside.

A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA that a mortar round launched by terrorists fell on a house at Tishreen neighborhood in al-Wafideen camp, injuring a woman and her three-year old child, and causing huge material damage to the house.

In Damascus city, one civilian was injured and material damaged was caused by terrorist mortar attacks on Baghdad and al-Thawra Streets in Damascus.

A source at the Police Command told SANA that terrorists fired a mortar shell which struck a residential building before Awad gas station in Baghdad Street, injuring one woman and causing material damage to a number of homes and cars.

The source said another mortar shell fell near the Social Affairs and Labor Ministries in al-Thawra Street, causing only material damage.
