Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will slightly drop to become around average or slightly lower as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by northern to northeastern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be clear to stable in general while the weather will be cold at night, and frost is expected in the mountains and some inland areas.
The wind will be easterly with a low to moderate over the western areas while it will be changeable to northwesterly over the eastern and al-Jazeera areas, while the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 17/5, Daraa 16/8, Homs 19/5, Lattakia 26/13, Aleppo 18/4 and Deir Ezzor 23/6.
