Syria, Iraq and Russia discuss Turkish aggression on Syrian territory

Baghdad, SANA- Iraqi Defense Minister Najah al- Shammari discussed  with representatives of Syria and Russia at the Joint Intelligence Coordination Center the developments of the security situation in Syria and Iraq after the Turkish aggression on the Syrian territory.

Spokesman for the Iraqi Joint Operations Command Major General Tahseen Khafaji told SANA reporter in Baghdad that talks between al-Shammari and the Syrian and Russian sides dealt with the latest developments of the security situation and possibility of the entrance of members from Daesh (ISIS) terrorist organization who are fleeing from Syria into the Iraqi territories.

Khafaji indicated that Iraq has deployed more troops to the border with Syria which are supplied with fighting units, thermographic cameras and sophisticated telecommunication devices to prevent Daesh terrorists from sneaking into Iraq.
