Havana, SANA- Member of the Cuban National Assembly of People’s Power , Eusebio Leal Spengler, affirmed his country’s firm stance in support of Syria in the fight against terrorism.
Spengler, meeting Syria’s Ambassador in Havana Idres Maya, hailed the victories achieved by the Syrian army against terrorist organizations.
Spengler is Havana City Historian and member of the Central Committee of communist Party of Cuba.
For his Part, Juan Carlos Marsan, Deputy Chairman of International Relations Department at the party appreciated, in a similar meeting, the sacrifices offered by the Syrian army in its war on terrorism.
The Syrian Ambassador briefed the two Cuban officials on the latest political and field developments in Syria, stressing the army’s determination to pursue remnants of terrorist organizations all over Syrian territory.
