Damascus, SANA-For the First time in Syria, Dr. Maria Abdullah, has recorded a presence for woman in a medical specialization that was ” a monopoly” for men to prove that the woman is able to give in all professional and scientific specializations.
“I have chosen the surgery of bones as this specialization is one of most enjoyable specialization… it gathers imagination, art and talent with accuracy,” Dr. Abdullah told SANA.
Dr. Abdullah added that she has planned to be a bone surgeon and was able to get the Syrian Board certification with an excellent degree and had the opportunity to get a suitable training courses in one of the public hospitals of Tartous.
