Prague, SANA- Czech Kam Se Vydat website which is specialized in tourism affirmed that Ma’aloula City is considered as one of the most important tourist and historical attractions in Syria.
In a photo report that embraced 22 photos reflecting the most important landmarks and monasteries in the city, the website said ” Ma’aloula is also distinguished by its geographical location and its colorful famous houses which were built on the slopes.”
The report added that the residents of the city use the Aramaic language which the language of Jesus Christ.
The website also talked in details about the history of Mar Thecla, and Mar Serkis monasteries, indicating that Mar Serkis is considered one of the oldest monasteries in the world.
