Damascus, SANA – The Cabinet approved on Sunday a plan by the Culture Ministry for developing the work of cultural centers by expanding their programs and activities.
During its weekly session chaired by Prime Minister Imad Khamis, the Cabinet allocated SYP 5 billion for procuring vehicles and equipment in order to improve sanitation services in cities and towns.
The Cabinet also discussed the status of the General Union of Co-op Housing and tasked a committee with evaluating its performance, as well as reviewing the process of procuring wheat and barley crops, and discussing the Transport Ministry’s plan for replacing license plates.
