Damascus, SANA-Syrian and Russian Coordination bodies on the return of Syrian Refugees reiterated that the US is responsible for the deterioration of humanitarian situation in al-Rukban and al-Houl camps, particularly with the increase of temperatures and decrease in water, food and medical care.
“The humanitarian situation in al-Rukban and al-Houl camps is in continuous deterioration in light of catastrophic conditions where residents suffer from severe decrease in water, food and medical care which lead to the death of between 7 to 10 persons every day,” the two bodies said in a statement.
The statement said that due to the joint efforts of Syria and Russia, nearly 12967 civilians have been evacuated from al-Rukban camp.
It added that the Syrian government are exerting great efforts to secure a safe return for residents to their Home.
