Moscow, SANA- Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin affirmed that his country will continue to support the Syrian Arab Army in the fight against terrorism until it is eradicated.
Sputnik quoted Vershinin as saying to journalists in statements on Thursday that terrorists in Idleb continue to violate the de-escalation zone agreement by attacking the civilians and the Syrian Arab Army’s positions, pointing out that targeting the terrorists’ positions in Idleb comes in retaliation to their violations .
A bout the appropriate way of response to the attacks committed by the terrorists in Idleb, Vershinin pointed out to the ongoing coordination with the Syrian side in this regard.
He indicated that a session of the UNSC on the situation in Syria will be held in late May.
