Shoigu: Washington rejects to dismantle al-Rukban Camp

Moscow, SANA- Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu affirmed that the US rejects to allow 40 thousand displaced Syrians to leave al-Rukban Camp.

Speaking at the opening of Moscow Conference on International Security (MCIS) on Wednesday Shoigu said “We have repeatedly asked Washington to evacuate and dismantle al-Rukban Camp, but it rejects that.”

“The sources of financing terrorists should be dried up to prevent the spread of terrorists,” Shoigu added.

For his part, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in a speech at the opening of the MCIS that the US and the European Union are adopting the policy of interfering in the affairs of the other states in violation of the international law.

Lavrov added that Washington and its allies change the international laws according to their desires and this will aggravate the international situations.

Lavrov added that Washington imposes sanctions on the states  which don’t bow to its ambitions with the aim of achieving its interests at the expense of the interests of other states.

He indicated that the international terrorism is still expanding and a front should be formed to confront it under an international umbrella.
