Putin reiterates Moscow’s rejection of US President’s proclamation on Golan

Moscow, SANA-Russian President Vladimir Putin reiterated on Monday Moscow’s rejection of US president Trump’s proclamation on the occupied Syrian Golan.

Putin, at a press conference with President of the Turkish regime Erdogan in Moscow, pointed out that Russia is committed to the international resolutions on the situation of Golan and rejects the US president proclamation regarding it.

He added that the guarantor states of Astana process will continue their efforts to solve the crisis in Syria in light of UN resolution No. 2254 which affirms the need for preserving Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

“The problem of Idleb is critical and its solution is an inevitable to make the conditions available for the political process in Syria through joint efforts between Moscow and Ankara,” Putin said.
