Heavy rainfalls expected over coastal and eastern areas

Damascus, SANA- The skies will be cloudy in general to cloudy and rainy as  rainfalls will be heavy and accompanied by thunder sometimes, particularly over the coastal and eastern areas as the country is affected by a low pressure in all layers of the atmosphere accompanied by a relatively cold and wet air mass.

Over the past 24 hours, different amounts of rainfalls were registered in different provinces as follows: Damascus 10 mm, Daraa 4 mm, Homs 7mm, Aleppo 25 mm, Raqqa 16mm, Hasaka 12 mm and Deir Ezzor 11 mm.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 14-9, Daraa 15-9, Homs 13-8, Lattakia 17-12, Aleppo 13-6 and Deir Ezzor 16-8.
