Damascus, SANA- With the participation of about 500 Arab doctors, the activities of the 19th International Scientific Conference of the Syrian Dental Association kicked off on Saturday at the Umayyad Palace for conferences in Damascus.
The three –day conference will feature 100 lectures and training workshops on various scientific and technical dental issues, in addition to a specialized exhibition where more than 50 medical companies will showcase their equipment and products,
Chief of the Syrian Dental Association Fadia Deeb said that four thousand Syrian doctors, delegations from 13 Arab countries and 500 dentists who came to Syria individually from Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Tunisia, Morocco, Iraq, Algeria, Libya and Mauritania, as well as foreign doctors will discuss the latest dental developments in their countries of residence.
It is scheduled to hold the meeting of the Union of Arab Dentists on the sidelines of the conference.
The International Scientific Conference of the Syrian Dental Association has resumed its editions since 2016 after six- year hiatus.
