Geneva, SANA- The 139th IPU session continued its activities with the participation of the Syrian delegation led by Deputy Speaker of the People’s Assembly, Najdat Anzor.
The session was entitled “The Parliamentary Leadership in Consolidating Peace and Development at the Age of Innovation and Technological Change”
Anzor said in a speech during a meeting held on the sidelines the IPU sessions that the suffering of Syrian people over the past years was because of terrorism, noting to the Army’s achievements in countering terrorism alongside the local reconciliations and bringing back the normal life to many territories.
IPU sessions will end on Thursday.
