Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will notably drop to become around average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy and rain showers will fall over the coastal areas while the weather will be misty and relatively hot in the eastern and al-Jazeera areas.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with dusty conditions in the eastern and al-Badyia (desert) areas while the sea waves will be low to medium in height.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 32/19, Daraa 31/18, Homs 31/18, Lattakia 29/24, Aleppo 34/21 and Deir Ezzor 39/23.
