Bogdanov, Haddad discuss preparations for next meeting on Astana formula

Moscow, SANA-Special representative of the Russian President, deputy foreign Minister Michael Bogdanov discussed Friday with Syrian Ambassador in Moscow Riad Haddad preparations taken for the upcoming meeting of Astana formula about the crisis in Syria in Sochi.

Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that during the meeting, the two sides exchanged viewpoints about a group of settlement issues within the context of preparations for the 10^th international meeting of Astana formula that will be held on the 30^th and 31^st of July in Sochi.

Representatives from the Syrian government and “the opposition” will attend the upcoming meeting according to Russian deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Virshinin.
