Damascus, SANA_ Speaker of the People’s Assembly Hammoudah Sabbagh stressed the importance to further enhance parliamentary relations between Syria and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).
Sabbagh made his remarks during a meeting with Ambassador of the DPRK in Damascus Jang Myong Ho on the occasion of the near end of his mission as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary in Syria.
He added that Syria always supports the leadership, government and people of the DPRK against hegemony and imperialist powers.
For his part, DPRK Ambassador stressed the need to boost relations between the Supreme People’s Assembly in DPRK and the Syrian People’s Assembly, reaffirming his country’s support and solidarity with Syria in the fight against terrorism.
He highlighted the remarkable achievements made by the Syrian army throughout the Syrian territories, expressing confidence that final victory over terrorism is so imminent.
