New York, SANA- Russian permanent envoy to the UN Vassily Nebenzia affirmed that conclusions of OPCW-UN Joint Investigative Mechanism on allegations of chemical weapon use in Syria are politicized that defame the international investigation.
“Syria has repeatedly announced that terrorists had used the chemical weapons, but this information was deliberately ignored,” Nebenzia told a UN Security Council session on the situation in Syria.
He indicated that a number of countries still direct ridiculous accusations against Syria of allegations about the use of chemical weapons without any evidence for political motives.
The Russian diplomat said that the terrorist groups have the ability to launch chemical attacks.
