Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will slightly rise, yet they will remain around average or slightly higher as the country is still affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general and rain showers will fall over the southern, al-Jazeera and the coastal areas while the temperature will tend to be stable in the afternoon.
At night, the weather will be cold and fog is expected in the early morning in some inland areas.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be medium in height.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 14/6, Daraa 14/7, Homs 13/7, Lattakia 17/12, Aleppo 13/6 and Deir Ezzor 15/7.
