Damascus, SANA – The Republic Show Jumping Championship wrapped up its activities on Monday at Basil al-Assad Equestrian Club in al-Dimas of Damascus Countryside with the participation of the clubs of al-Jaish and al-Shourta, Damascus, Gemini, and team spirits.
The competitions of all categories involve two rounds, the first and the work-off round to choose qualifiers without mistakes.
Equestrian Mohammed Joubrani from Team Spirit came first in 140 cm hurdle height contest followed by two equestrians of Al-Jaish Club Mustafa Zendaqi and Hani Badran respectively.
In the category of 130 cm hurdle height contest, equestrian Sham al-Assad came first, equestrian Mou’amen Zindaqi came second from Team Spirit Club and equestrian Hani Badran third from al-Jaish Club.
In the category of 120 cm hurdle height contest, equestrian Laith al-Ali ranked first, followed by Mou’amen Zindaqi second and Boshra al-Assad was the third.
