Russia: Situation in de-escalation zones stable, 11 violations registered

Lattakia, SANA – The Hmeimim-based Russian Coordination Center said that the situation in the de-escalation zones is stable despite the registration of 11 violations in the past 24 hours.

In a statement on Sunday, the Center said that the operational situation in the de-escalation zones is stable despite the fact that the joint monitoring committees have registered 11 violations, which consisted of 6 violations in Damascus Countryside, 3 in Aleppo, and one in each of Homs and Lattakia.

The Center noted the violations were random firing of conventional weapons in areas where groups of Jabhat al-Nusra and Daesh (ISIS) terrorist organizations are located.
