Damascus, SANA – Ministry of Finance started on Sunday discussing the draft state general budget for the fiscal year of 2018 in both its running and investment sides with the other ministries and public bodies.
The discussions will last for almost a month, where committees of the Finance Ministry will discuss with the ministries and public institutions the detailed items of the budgets of each of them until reaching the final draft project.
The total sum of the state budget for the fiscal year 2017 was SYP 2660 billion, with SYP 1,982 billion for running expenditures and SYP 678 billion for investment expenditures.
