Moscow, SANA- Syria’s Ambassador in Moscow Riyad Haddad affirmed that Russia’s support to Syria in its war against terrorism is an extension of the close relations linking the peoples and leaders of both countries based on the principles of non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries and cooperation and solidarity among peoples.
In a speech delivered during a conference held on Thursday by the Russian Committee for Solidarity and Cooperation with the Peoples of Asia and Africa of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Haddad said that Russia, in cooperation with the Syrian government, has been actively contributing to the fight against terrorism in a way that reflects positively on security and stability in the region and the world.
Ambassador Haddad added that Russia has proved that it is a state that adopts the principles of international law and the principle of good neighborliness in its foreign relations.
