Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will continue to rise to become from 4 to 6 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and local rain showers might fall over the coastal mountains while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya desert areas.
The wind will be changeable to easterly with a moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will drop, yet they will remain from 2 to 4 degrees above average and the skies will be partly cloudy in general and local rain showers are expected to fall over different areas.
On Saturday, the temperatures will slightly rise to become from 3 to 5 degrees above average.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 29/15, Daraa 29/12 Homs 29/12, Lattakia 26/15, Aleppo 29/13 and Deir Ezzor 33/15.
