Russian aid distributed to people in Aleppo, Lattakia and Quneitra

Provinces, SANA – More batches of aid provided by the Russia have been distributed to a number of families in the provinces of Aleppo, Lattakia and Quneitra during the past 24 hours.

The Hmeimim-based Russian Coordination Center said in a statement on Wednesday that it distributed 8.26 tons of aid to 2820 persons in Aleppo city, Keirsan town in Lattakia and Jabaa village in Qunietra, adding that the aid included food stuff, school requirements and toys for children.

The Center added that Russian jets dropped aid by parachutes over the areas besieged by ISIS in Deir Ezzor city, noting that the aid was provided by the Syrian government and the UN.

The Center pointed out that the Russian forces will continue to deliver aid provided by humanitarian organizations to affected people in Syria.
